How do you turn football education into viral storytelling?
With a world-class concept and a scroll-stopping visual identity.
For Al Jazeera English and Al Jazeera O2, Deimos Creative brought the World Cup to social feeds with World Cup 101—a culturally relevant, high-energy social series that breaks down football’s biggest event into snackable, smart, and visually magnetic content. From idea to execution, we shaped the creative soul of the project—delivering 140 episodes in total: 70 in Arabic, 70 in English.
1. From Brief to Breakthrough: Building the Heart of the Series
While Line Production Turkey managed the on-ground production, Deimos Creative led the creative direction from A to Z. We developed the core idea of World Cup 101, wrote and structured all episodes, built a culturally intelligent narrative system, and established a dynamic format that could evolve as the tournament progressed. Every line, frame, and moment was designed to educate, entertain, and engage global audiences—on their terms, in their language.
2. Designing for the Feed: Visuals That Stop the Scroll
From TikTok to Instagram, World Cup 101 had to win the first three seconds—and keep people watching. Our creative team designed a high-energy visual identity: bold motion graphics, multilingual-friendly type systems, and high-contrast color palettes built for mobile-first viewing. Delivered by charismatic hosts Rita Khan and Samantha Johnson, the tone struck the perfect balance between informative and casual, letting football fans and newcomers feel equally welcomed into the world of the World Cup.
3. Scalable Creativity: 140 Episodes, Real-Time Relevance
Across 70 Arabic and 70 English episodes, Deimos Creative delivered a content engine that moved with the pace of the tournament. As matches unfolded, new episodes were written, designed, and produced in real-time—each one staying relevant to on-field developments and global fan conversations. The agility and scale of the project were only possible thanks to the editorial framework and flexible creative ecosystem we designed from the beginning.
Deimos Creative didn’t just write content.
We built a bilingual, culturally adaptive story engine—delivering 140 episodes of social-first football storytelling.
